I wanna try explain it in english First of all i want to thanks to my friend Eka for explaining it to me first.
OK, let’s just start from:
1. Open up the program and go to Traffic policy and click on the "wizard" button
2. In the wizard window, on page:
i. Next
ii. Select your internet connection, and click next
iii.Select your Modem adapter,
iv.Select the service you want to choose for sharing your internet connection on LAN (just check the "Allow access to all services(no limitation)" for the default choice)
v. Select if you want to have a VPN(i think it stands for Virtual Private Network, tell me if it’s wrong) service or not, (i think most of people just don;t wanna have this service, so, just uncheck the two option that available
vi. This page is for you if there is an availabe internet connection on your LAN. Just go to the next page
vii. Enable the NAT service, leave it check.
viii. Finish
3.(OPTIONAL) Next go to Content Filtering and go to the Proxy Server and enter your proxy Internet Service Provider (ISP), in this example i use Centrin Connection in Indonesia. Go to your ISP website and check if there’s a proxy service at their website.
4. Go to Users in Under Users and Groups, and click the Add button on the bottom
On Page:
i. enter name and check the "This user has an individual configuration" option
ii. This page is for groups, i don’t use it so just click next
iii. This page is for you to setting the user to gain administration rights, Don’t wanna do that so check the "No access administration" option
iv. Check "Enable Daily Limit" (this quota is for full speed internet, so if you want to limit the speed just leave it 0(zero)), NExt Also Check "Don’t block further traffic", and uncheck "Notify user by emailwhen the quotais exceeded if necessary. (I did)
v. Check all the box
vi. enter your user computer IP Address (between 192.168.0.4 – 192.168.0.254) (I think). FInish
5. Go to DHCP Server and click add->Scope…. And enter description name, first address(You cannot enter 192.168.0.0 – 192.168.0.3), so choose between 192.168.0.4 – 192.168.0.254
check "Default gateway" , enter 192.168.0.1 and "Domain Name Server"
You can check your domain ip addres by doing this:
- go to "run"
- type cmd and hit enter
- after it open, type "ipconfig /all" you can see your default gateway there, and enter the "Domain Name Server" above
6. Goto to DHCP again, and add reservation
7. Enter the name, computer name and the user IP Address
*You can check your user computer name by going to "My Computer-> Right Click-> Properties and go to Computer Name Tab
9. Now go to "traffic policy" and double click the NAT row on the source tab. and add user. Select user and add it.
11. Done! YOu should now actually share your internet connection by now.
12. See the activities who’s useing your internet connection (OPTIONAL)
check all the box
Ok, i think i end my tutorial from this point. If this tutorial is usefull, and many feedback are given to maybe i’ll updated it on more optional option. Cya hope it helps…
