Twilight – Movie Review

Why do i make this review? Well, coz this is the 2nd movie that i watched twice, my first movie that i watched twice is an indonesian film, called "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?". That’s and old one but i think it’s worth it to watch it twice. btw, not that i watch this movie coz i really like it, but well, let say it’s a coincidence to me .

First of all,.. A Vegetarian vampire?? What the hell is the writer thinks? haha…

This movie is from the Novel Book that had the same title, my friend(Chane) said that it has a total of 600++ total page, what the… i’ll never finish the book that thick :p. It’s 121min long(source). The budget on making this film is US$37 million!(Source)

This movie is about a girl who fall in love with a guy that actually a vampire, but not a blood sucking one(they can) but they have feeling like we(humans) so, they don’t want become some monster sucking humans blood. They call theme self a vegetarian vampire, :p.

The GOOD:

• I think for women they really the romantic scene, and talking, like saying: "oh.. so sweet,.." or " i want to become a vampire too,.." blablabla…
• The Director gave a good effort on making the setting like the Scene when Edward climb to a high tree with Bella

The BAD:

• Normal stories
• The effect could be much better
• Enemy is too weak
• If you haven’t read the novel. The title can fool you(i did), before watching this movie, it though it’s about a fantasy/action movie, or something like that, but NOT!

There’s 2 scene that i like on this movie:

1. Scene when Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen climb to a high tree with Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, The scenery from above that is tree is amazingly beyond words, and i believe that every person that see that scene wanted to go up there too, don’t you think the same? WEll, that’s just me…

I don’t get the picture when this scene happens, i’ll update the picture if i got it

Then you ask on yourself, how’d they do that?! Capturing up to that tree? This is your answer:

MTV: The audience just watched a visually stunning scene with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart climbing an enormous tree. Was that really them up so high?

Hardwicke: Oh, yeah, they’re in the tree. We had the trees on the edge of the cliff, and it was right on the Columbia River Gorge, so it was a little bit scary. It was cold and rainy, and I was like, "Please, don’t slip!" Some of the really scary shots, those were the stunt doubles. That helicopter stunt where they move around the trees? That was the stunt doubles. They look pretty good, and the stunt doubles look pretty hot too.

Yup, that is one hell of a job on this film that i give big thumbs up

2. Scene when the Cullen’s played baseball, not that great but i liked the scene and the music too (Mused played it, and it’s called Supermassive Blackhole) want it? just "google" it :p

 I don’t get the picture when this scene happens, i’ll update the picture if i got it

If you browse for more review on the net, they said it’s a bad movie, and it doesn’t feel like in the novel, do’h,?! every novel played in a film always said the novel is better! This is just me, coz i don’t wanna go further from this, why? I don’t like reading those 500++ page to read, i just don’t read, let just say it that way. I just get this review from every person that read the novel first, like lord of the ring, ayat-ayat cinta, harry potter, etc.

I dunno, when i watched this movie the second time, it feels more "appealing" (how do you say that), is it because of the seat? the movie? or is it just me? who knows,"Personally" I Rate This Movie: 7,5/10
