Baru dapat informasi nih mengenai aturan peng-uploadan foto kita di Facebook, katanya setiap foto yang kita upload menjadi hak milik kepunyaan facebook!, buset dah, uenak bener yakh,.. fair? well, kalau sekedar foto2 kita yang lagi melakukan event sih gpp, tapi kalau sudah tentang foto2 artistik, siapa yang mau diambil dan digunakan komersial dengan emreka secara cuma-cuma? Not Me! I’m done uploading photo’s in facebook that ‘s artistic dan menurut gua "bagus".
Coba baca kutipan dari Term of Use Photo Upload mereka:
When you post User Content to the Site, you authorize and direct us to make such copies thereof as we deem necessary in order to facilitate the posting and storage of the User Content on the Site. By posting User Content to any part of the Site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to the Company an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such User Content for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise, on or in connection with the Site or the promotion thereof, to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such User Content, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. Terjemahan kasarnya sebagai berikut:
Saat anda upload gambar-gambar ke Facebook. Maka anda secara otomatis memberikan hak yang SANGAT PENUH, TANPA BISA DIBANTAH, TIDAK BISA DITARIK ULUR, ANDA TIDAK MUNGKIN MENANG, TERSERAH FACEBOOK MAU BERBUAT APA SAJA, BAIK SEBAGIAN MAUPUN SECARA KESELURUHAN, DIMANAPUN DI SELURUH DUNIA, UNTUK APA SAJA, DEMI KEPENTINGAN APA SAJA, MAU DIJADIKAN APA SAJA TERSERAH FACEBOOK, TANPA BERHUTANG TERHADAP ANDA, BAIK KOMERSIAL, ADVERTISING KEPENTINGAN FACEBOOK terhadap gambar-gambar tersebut. Jika anda memutuskan untuk menghapus gambar-gambar anda di akun Facebook tersebut namun bukan berarti Facebook tidak boleh menyimpan copy. Anda memperbolehkan Facebook memakai copy tersebut.
Well it’s up to you to decide,.. kalau saran saya sih hati-hati aja hak cipta foto anda digunakan seenaknya oleh mereka

Bro ok banget tuh. Thanks baget tuh infonya. Mantep, Kalo logo perusahaan giamana tuh? bisa diambil dia juga? enak bener dia. Oel kaloo logo nya udah di register gimana? bisa diambil dia juga? walah rugi kalo iya bisa tekor orang, susah payah ngedisain,di register dan dipromosiin, eh enak aja dia mau ngambil. ‘ ^ ^

Bila sudah diupload difacebook otomatis harus confirm terhadap lisensi mereka, jd otomatis mau udah di register kek atau sudah dipatenkan kek, mereka bs menggunakan foto yang sudah di upload semau mereka. Sebagai contoh langsung bos bisa langsung lihat di ads(iklan) mereka di (biasanya ada di sudut kanan). Foto teman saya aja(foto modelling) jd iklan suatu produk di ads mereka. so,.. kalau fotonya gak mau dipakai, jgn upload foto di facebook!
saya sendiri hanya mengupload foto2 event doang dsana, kalau ada yg dianggap bagus gak berani upload di sana. mending ke deviantart/FN/ayofoto/fotokita lebih terbuka lisensinya
